The Windsor and Essex Alzheimer Society is hosting their 2nd annual Trivial Pursuit Night, organized by the Daughters Support Group. $20 buys you into the tournament and includes a dinner buffet, dessert and soft drinks. There will also be a cash bar, prizes and a 50/50 draw that will all go to benefit care programs for those suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementias.
Doors open at 6pm on May 25th at the South Windsor Knights of Columbus Club, 2401 Columbus Drive. Please call 51-974-2220 for ticket information.

The Carrousel of the Nations is a wonderful exploration and fusion of world music, dance, art, food and culture. Supporting Windsor-Essex’s unique multicultural identity and flavour, the Carrousel of the Nations dominates the two weekends in June, and is the area’s only regional multicultural festival. The Carrousel is expected to attract well over 400,000 attendees and offers festival-goers fine food, music and warm hospitality.

Balloonapalooza, held in downtown Windsor is North America’s only cold air balloon festival. It features 80 giant balloons and inflatables; live outdoor music concerts; bustling sidewalk cafés; a mini express train; midway rides; slides and bouncers; hot air balloons; balloon artists, clowns, buskers and more. Balloonapalooza … it’s a blast!
